Dr. Fauci Already Debunks Bob Woodward's Accusation on Trump being "Unfocused" in meetings.

Well that did not take long for this weeks fake news story to be disputed.According to Bob Woodward in his new book, he claims Dr. Fauci said Trump was "Unfocused" in meetings and only cares about getting re-elected.

Dr. Fauci on Fox News this morning said that was not true . He said: “I don’t recall anything that was any gross distortion in things that I spoke to him about."

More fake news before the election.

Another part of the story that will surely have the media in a fake frenzy is the audio of Trump and Woodward that they say Trump "downplayed" the seriousness of the virus. The full context of what he meant was that he did not want to alarm the public too much and wanted to remain positive. However, his actions show he did take it seriously. Although, The President did caution the public.

On January 30, 2020, for example, Trump told a rally in Des Moines, Iowa (emphasis added):

Hopefully everything’s going to be great. They have somewhat of a problem, but hopefully it’s all going to be great. But, we’re working with China just so you know, and other countries very, very closely, so it doesn’t get out of hand, but it’s something that we have to be very, very careful with, right? We have to be very careful.

In his State of the Union address, Trump said (emphasis added):

Protecting Americans’ health also means fighting infectious diseases. We are coordinating with the Chinese government and working closely together on the coronavirus outbreak in China. My administration will take all necessary steps to safeguard our citizens from this threat

The Democrats will continue to keep Trump and his administration on the defensive leading up until the election. After all, everything that has happened in 2020 is all about the election.
